I think they need to be self-sufficient, yet able to ask for help. They need to be risk takers and problem solvers, but not too proud. Is this a tall order?
I've been out of town, so I apologize for not responding to your comment. It is not a tall order. After doing these tools, I see that our students' world is going to be fast paced and information rich. The world is becoming "flat" in that there will be little to separate yourself from knowledge. The Internet is making it easier to learn.
